In Dameron, an assortment of fishing options are available for you.  The season opens in mid-April as trophy rockfish migrate in the Bay.

May through October are filled with an assortment of fishing possibilities including chumming, bottom fishing, and jigging for trout, rockfish, bluefish, croakers and flounder.  Summer croaker fishing is especially fun for beginners as well as veterans.  November and December round out the season with trophy fishing as fish are migrating back again.

Reach out and touch the Point No Point Lighthouse.  Constructed in 1905, automated in 1938, this light is still an active navigation aid. The last keepers were Coast Guardsmen who were well known for their cooking abilities.

Located about an hour and one-half south of Washington D.C. and two hours south of Baltimore, Fish The Bay Charter service is situated between Solomons Island and Point Lookout on the southern Chesapeake Bay; just moments from prime fishing grounds. Trips depart from St. Jerome's Creek at the mouth of the Bay.
